Nutrition and Consciousness

Are nutrition and consciousness interlinked? We've spoken to leading experts who believe that being aware of the powerful role nutrition plays in our mental, emotional, and physical health, helps us navigate our lives with a sense of clarity and confidence, finding it easier to help ourselves and becoming less confused about what creates dis-ease.

An Aboriginal Perspective on Consciousness:

Who are we ? Why are we here? Where do we come from?

This is Gerry Bockstoc, an Australian aboriginal healer, whom we had the pleasure to interview for OUR SEED OF LIFE. He has vast knowledge in a variety of subjects from healing, to a history of the world yet to be known to humanity. We are excited to introduce Gerry to you, and find that his input, unique as it is, is also sometimes mirrored by vast numbers of peoples around the planet, cultures living and past, like the Hopi [Southwest United States], the Dogon [Nothern Africa], or the Mayan [Central America], etc. Gerry also brings his very own personal wisdom to the table and astounds through his healing practice. You will get to experience powerful insights into the nature of reality, through the aboriginal perspective, and through a man who has lived a more than ordinary life.

"Huge were the minds that saw beyond the crashing waves to other places

and other times, and powerful the dreams they took to the Old Tides.

Mighty were the deeds they achieved for the families of human kind."

~ Barry Brailsford, SONG OF THE OLD TIDES

We had heard of a group of people called Waitaha, who lived in New Zealand for thousands of years before the Maori arrived. This information does not exist in any known history books, and so we were ardent to hear the truth.

We have had the honor to meet with Waitaha elder, Mic Collins, a phenomenal greenstone carver, who traces his lineage 63 generations back to Siberia. We have also had the honor to meet with Barry Brailsford, the appointed scribe of the Waitaha, a kind and brilliant man, whose captivating and vivid tales bring the reality and the wisdom of the Waitaha to life.

The Waitaha was a nation comprised of many diverse people and cultures, at the center of which lay a deep devotion to unity and peace. How many of us in one way or another hold that same sentiment and intention in our hearts and minds? As those of the Waitaha revealed to us, " All born of this land are of this land, all who sleep beneath the mountains of this land are of this land, all who call this land home are of this land." We are also reminded of the Australian aboriginal belief that if you are not now a bundjalung, you have been or will be. Another example that comes to mind is the Mayan way of relating, as there is only one way in the vocabulary to call upon another: In' Lakesh, in other words, "you are another myself"... In fact, the majority of tribal societies in the world, have original names that translate as "The First People" or "The People", all in our opinion, making little to no differentiation between human beings, and often lacking separating or discriminating concepts such as "races", "classes", etc.  As in the case of the Waitaha, there is a oneness of humanity present and an honoring of the cycles of life and their relationship to the visible and the invisible realms, which successfully manifested in their peaceful existence.

Much is to be shared on the Waitaha and their vast significance to humanity at this point in time. How and why they hold a relationship to the world at large, we further explore this topic in the film. Whether the subject is practical living, sustainable living, or spiritual living, etc...the glass is full. We are happy and honored to do our part in shedding some light on this timeless wisdom and its connection to the children , and all of us as well.
